Getting There: The Plumpton Park Zoo Documentary

Getting There: The Plumpton Park Zoo Documentary was filmed in 2011, in the first year after the zoo reopened. Made by Tommy Lawrence as a student project at Harford Community College, it was first screened at the Screech Awards and later aired on Harford Cable Network.

It features interviews with founder Ed Plumstead, with Nicholas and Cheryl Lacovara, and with the keepers and volunteers who were rebuilding the zoo at the time, along with the animals that lived here then. It is about nineteen minutes long.
