SCHOOL TRIPS IN MARYLAND

One of the most common school trips in Maryland consists of visiting the Plumpton Park Zoo, as it allows students to see some of the most beautiful species of animals safely. It also encourages environmental awareness at an early age among children as they learn about how and where the animals are living. Another benefit of school trips to zoos includes exposure to different environments and increased interaction among students outside of the classroom.

School trips in Maryland must consist of at least 15 students when visiting the Plumpton Park Zoo to qualify for a group rate that includes $2 off the regular admission price for adults and children. Moreover, an hour-long guided tour costs $35, should the students and teachers wish to gain insight regarding animals. In order to avoid any confusion, it is best to make a reservation beforehand.
