Unlimited visits for a year, from $85

A Plumpton Park Zoo membership is a year of unlimited visits, and it pays for itself fast. Regular admission is $21.95 for an adult and $15.95 for a child, so a family of four spends about $75 a visit. A Family Membership is $175: come three times in a year and everything after that is free.

Members also get guest passes to bring a friend, free admission to the annual membership event, and discounts on zoo programs and events. And because we are a nonprofit, every membership goes straight into feeding and caring for the animals you come to see.

Children under 2 are always free. “Pays for itself” is based on regular admission of $21.95 adult, $15.95 child and $18.95 senior.

Which membership is right for you?

Just you

Individual. Four visits and it has paid for itself, and the guest pass covers a friend on one of them.

Two adults and up to three kids

Family. The most popular choice, and the one most households need.

Bigger family, or kids who love feeding the animals

Family Plus. Room for five children, and a large feed cup is included on every single visit, which adds up quickly over a year.

Grandparents who bring the grandchildren

Grandparents. Two seniors and up to five grandchildren, so a day at the zoo is always covered.

How memberships work

Memberships are per household and run for one year. The named adults must live at the same address, and photo ID is checked with your membership card at the gate; memberships cannot be shared or lent. Children on a Family, Family Plus or Grandparents membership must be ages 2 to 17. Guest passes are single-use and can be given to anyone.

Membership questions

Do I need to book a visit as a member?

No. Show your membership card and photo ID at the gate any day the zoo is open.

Can two grandparents at different addresses share a Grandparents membership?

No. Like all our memberships it covers two named adults at the same address.

Does a membership include giraffe feeding or special events?

Giraffe feeding is a separate $5 ticket for everyone. Family Plus members receive a large animal feed cup on every visit. Members get free admission to the annual membership event and discounts on other programs and events.

Is my membership tax-deductible?

Plumpton Park Zoological Gardens, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Because a membership comes with admission and other benefits, its deductibility is limited; ask your tax adviser.
