Goffin’s Cockatoo

Cacatua goffiniana
The Goffin’s Cockatoo is the smallest of all
cockatoos. They are white with pink highlights in
front of the eyes and on the breast. They have small
crests of feathers on their head that become raised
when they are frightened or excited. They are very
social birds who like to interact with people. When
these birds get bored or do not receive attention,
they sometimes screech loudly.
